Onboarding New Clients

  1. Brand Overview
    Company / Brand Name:
    Primary Contact:
    Website & Socials:
    Industry/Expertise:
  2. Brand Essence
In one sentence, what do you do? (Not what you sell. What transformation do you create?)

    What makes you different?
Why you instead of everyone else?
    Specifically:
    Philosophy
    Approach
    Experience
    Personality
    Results
    Reputation

If your brand had a personality, how would people describe it?

What values matter most to your business? Not corporate wallpaper values. Real ones.
  3. Audience. Who is this film really for?
What does your audience currently think or feel before encountering you? This creates emotional contrast.
What do you want them to think or feel after watching the film?
  4. The Story
Why does this business exist beyond money? This often unlocks the soul of the film.
Was there a defining moment or turning point that shaped the business?
    These answers become cinematic anchors.
What struggle, frustration, or gap in the industry were you trying to solve? Conflict creates story.
    What are you building toward?
    Vision > services.
What do you want to be remembered for? That one can create astonishing VO lines.

    Choose one core goal:
    Build trust
    Increase conversions

    Choose words, moods, textures.

Are there any films, brands, photographers or campaigns you love?
Links encouraged. This is far better than “references?” because it opens visual language.

    Examples:
Corporate clichés. Drone overload. Fake smiles. Overly polished. Salesy tone.
  8. Hero/Subjects

Logos, fonts, colours, previous campaigns etc.

    Interview Questions (for filming day)
THIS is where sharper questions matter most.
    Avoid:
“What do you do?”
“What makes you different?”
    Those create LinkedIn soup.
    Instead:
    Founder / Personal Brand Questions
What did you see in this industry that frustrated you?
What problem were you obsessed with solving?
What did people misunderstand about your work?
Was there a moment you nearly gave up?
    What keeps you driven now?
What do clients thank you for most?
What kind of people do you love working with?
What legacy are you trying to build?
What would success look like 10 years from now?
What do you believe that others in your industry don’t?
